Left to their own devices, an engineer, a designer and a pair of environmentalists might each create a very different chair. But Think® is the brainchild of all three disciplines. It has the clean, sophisticated aesthetic the designer hoped for, the technological “intuitiveness” the engineer desired and the complete sustainability the environmentalists sought.
The Think® chair is the simplest, most streamlined embodiment of our deep understanding of people who sit, and how they sit throughout the day. Think® has raised the bar for all chairs that follow in its wheels.

One very smart chair.
Think is the chair with a brain and a conscience. As you sit and change position throughout your workday, it senses what you need and immediately responds, adjusting itself intuitively to provide support in all the right places.
Innovative back flexors hug your spine and work in concert with flexors in the seat, automatically changing shape to follow and support your moves. Lean forward, lean back, and the chair tracks with you, leveraging your body weight to make every movement smooth. Think feels good, from the first moment you sit to the last.
And as considerate as Think is of your comfort, it’s equally considerate of the environment. It’s made with up to 37% recycled content and is 98% recyclable by weight.

a. Your Profile™ Seat & Back
As you change position throughout the workday, individually shaped back flexors track with the movement of your spine and pelvis and seat flexors conform to your shape. The result: optimum support and comfort.
b. Seat Depth
The seat glides forward and back. Just lift the bar to move the seat, and then release it to lock the seat where it feels best.
c. Your Power™ Mechanism
Reclining is effortless. Lean back, and Think responds automatically, providing support in proportion to your body weight, while keeping you properly oriented to your work.
d. Adjustable Arms
With arms that move up, down, and pivot, you can find a natural position that comfortably supports and aligns your wrists, arms, and shoulders. Want to get closer to your work? Pull up your chair, and when the the arms come in contact with the desktop, they automatically retract up to three inches.
e. Seat Height
Raise or lower the chair height with a simple movement of the lever.
f. Flexible Seat Edge
Recline or lean forward and the seat edge flexes, relieving pressure on the back of your legs.
g. Your Preference™ Control
With one, simple dial, you can fine-tune the back tension and back angle. Choose your favorite setting: weight activated, weight activated with at 20% boost, mid-stop recline, and upright back lock.

Extremely comfortable and beautiful chair

I had been looking for a drafting chair for almost a year, and finally bought this one based on the design awards and style. It has turned out to be the most comfortable stool I have sat in (I sit for 50+ hours a week and have tried many drafting chairs), and it is even more attractive and higher quality than appears on the website. I highly recommend this chair.
So far a great chair

Just got it a couple days ago, and like it so far. The chair came fully assembled so all I had to do was remove it from the (large!) box. I am not sure if the color I got it right (I ordered "Basil", but it looks very dark, more like "Licorice"). The chair is easy and intuitive to adjust. I use it with a "stand up" desk and it works very well. All the way down, it is just about low enough to sit at a normal desk, but people with shorter legs will need a footrest. All the way up it works great as a "stool" when I have the desk all the way up in stand up position. The mesh/wires in the back are very comfortable, but I don't think the lumbar support does much.
I am about 6' and 200lb and the chair fits me perfectly.
I hope the mesh in the back holds up. It looks like the name implies "knit" so I am a bit afraid that a stuck belt loop or such when sitting down could damage it. Too early to tell.
Only minus (but not with the chair) is the sit4less order process. There is very little feedback. One e-mail that the chair shipped, but no tracking number. Turns out the email arrived the day before the chair arrived, and the chair shipped a few days before. Took about 3 weeks from order to delivery using the free shipping option.

Ordered 2 Aeron chairs on Wednesday night and received them Friday afternoon (MD to NC). These were open box chairs. The boxes were a little beat, but the chairs were OK. Each chair was about $100 above local used price and unauthorized resellers. With the free shipping it was worth extra to get a warranty and use a reputable dealer. Very satisfied.
