How do I cancel an order?

We will make every attempt to cancel your order per your request. Most orders are processed and ready for shipping within in 1-2 business days. If your order has shipped or is in the process of being shipped, we will be unable to cancel your order. You will need to follow the above return instructions once you receive the package. All return charges apply (please refer to the Sit4Less.com return policy above for specific charges).

Problems with an order

To correct a problem with your order such as defective or damaged product, please contact our customer service department via email sales@sit4less.com or call 877-490-5377. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. You may also refer to our return policy for more information.

Sit4less Fast Exchange

Get the chair you want right away with our Fast Exchange program. Call us to initiate the exchange and we can ship your new chair within 2 business days. (Customer service is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 10 pm (ET). You will be charged for the new chair, but once we receive your return, we'll credit you for the cost of the original item).

Refusing Shipment

Refusing shipment for any reason other than for damaged merchandise will be treated as a return and all fees listed above will apply. If you are refusing the item due to damage you must note it at time of delivery. If the damage is not noticed until the package has been accepted and the box opened, you must contact customer service within 24 hours and supply pictures of the damage. The carrier may need to come retrieve the box and its contents for inspection. Do not discard the box or packaging until the claim has been completely processed. This can take up to 8 business days. If we ship out replacement merchandise for damaged merchandise, you must return the damaged merchandise in 15 business days or we reserve the right to charge the account of record for the merchandise until the return takes place.

Sit4less.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover / Novus cards. Ask about Sit4Less.com's attractive financing options for your purchase (underwritten by GE financial). If your billing information does not match the shipping information on your credit card, Sit4less.com reserves the right to request you add the shipping address to your credit card account.

Ground Shipping:

Ground Shipping is only available in the Continental United States. Average shipping time is between 5 - 7 business days for stock items. FedEx will deliver to the door of your house / building. If you live in an apartment they will deliver to the lobby. Unless otherwise requested, all packages require a signature. If you would like white glove delivery, assembly and/or in home setup, please contact customer service.

Freight Carrier Shipping:

Delivery is curb side or loading dock only. Inside delivery and assembly is available, but must be requested when placing your order. An additional fee for Inside delivery will be charged by the carrier.

Shipping to Hawaii / Alaska / Puerto Rico:

Shipping charges are $129 per office chair, and is available Monday - Friday (no Saturday/Sunday delivery). Shipping will take between 7 - 10 business days. Larger items will require price quotes prior to shipping.

International Shipping (including Canada):

International shipping is $209 US dollars per chair. Multiple chair orders may reduce the per chair shipping price. For more information on international shipping, please call us at 877-490-5377. We are unable to ship Herman Miller and Steelcase products internationally.

Customs:

Your package may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the purchaser. Sit4Less.com is not responsible for any customs clearance charges. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Sit4less.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of your order's contents by product type.

Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. Please be aware that shipping products internationally which cross-borders are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, shipment and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.

Express and Overnight Shipping:

Express and Overnight Shipping are available upon request. Orders must be placed before 11am EST to ship the same day. Orders placed after 11am will ship the next business day.

Overnight Priority shipping will get your package to its destination overnight by 10:30am to most US destinations; by noon or 1:30pm on Saturdays; by 5:30pm in remote areas. Overnight shipping will get your package to its destination overnight by 3pm to most US destinations; by 5pm in rural areas. Overnight Shipping is available Monday - Friday. 2 - Day Express Shipping will be delivered to businesses by 4:30pm and residences by 7:30pm, in 2 business days. 2-Day Express Shipping is available Monday - Friday, with Saturday delivery available for an additional charge. 3 - Day Express Shipping will be delivered to businesses by 4:30pm and residences by 7:30pm, in 3 business days. 3-Day Express Shipping is available Monday - Friday. Special Orders

Special order items ship directly from the manufacturer. They will be delivered by a regular freight carrier. Delivery is to your curb side or loading dock only. You will receive a call from the freight carrier to arrange a time of delivery. Delivery is available Monday - Friday. Because special order items aren't manufactured until the order is placed, tracking information is not immediately available. We will update you with information regarding your order upon request. Return Policy

Your complete satisfaction is our goal. To make sure our product lives up to this goal, we have created the best return guarantee in the business! Most items can be returned within 365 days from your delivery date for a full refund of the purchase price, minus shipping, handling or other charges.

Assembly or installation fees are non-refundable. The item must be returned in like new condition, with all paperwork, parts, and accessories to ensure full credit. Please see below for all return policy exceptions:

If your purchase is not to your satisfaction and meets the guidelines above, you may contact our customer service department at 877-490-5377 to request a return authorization. Sit4less.com will not accept any return that does not come back through our return shipping service. All returned items must be unassembled (or in the manner they were originally received) or an additional $49.95 return shipping charge will be assessed (in addition to the return shipping charges listed below).
